There Goes My Cardio

I was supposed to do a 60 minute cardio session today. But on my way out the door this morning to get my taxes done (nothing like waiting until the last minute), I stumbled and fell. I sprained my ankle, banged my knees on the concrete, and smacked my head on an adorable but near-deadly chair. I sat on the porch for a minute trying to decide whether to cry and if my ankle was broken.

I didn't cry, my ankle isn't broken (I don't think), and I got my taxes done. And guess what?! I am so generous - I gave the government a HUGE interest free loan all year long! Yay! - but also, duh!

Do you think I will do my cardio on Monday? Probably not - maybe I'll go swim at the Y.

Photo's of the treacherous porch and dangerous chair to follow...

Looks deceptively cozy and inviting doesn't it? BEWARE!

Oh! i am so sorry! I bet your ankle hurt so much that it made you want to throw-up. Such a drag! I hope it heals quickly and you can get back to normal.

That picture of your porch is lovely.

Ouch! I hate injuries that postpone good intentions of getting exercise. Is that a silly thing to say? It's true, but I'm also kinda a wimp. Hope your ankles and knees feel good soon and you can enjoy some cardio.

Dang! Bad chair! Baaaad chair!

Well at least you got your taxes done which is more than I can say for me.

Just be glad you're not a corporation. The US has the highest corporate tax in the world, between 35% to 41.6%. Higher than socialist countries. What's more Obama is raising the upper limit to 46.2% n 2010. Gee Whiz ... no wonder we send work overseas.
