HALLOWEEN!
This is a picture of my front porch. This is what I did instead of organizing my office (see earlier post).It was marvelous! A great Halloween. But really, it is a holiday guaranteed to be great, barring any wierd tragedies. I mean for kids; how much better can it be? Dress up and people will give you candy - awesome!
My sister-in-law gave out organic fruit snacks, you know, that just isn't cool. It's Halloween! C'mon!

I love the people who give out organic fruit snacks. In the middle of all the pure sugar, it's nice to see some wholesome sugar. It makes me feel less guilty about letting my kids eat halloween candy for 48 hours straight!

A neighbor of mine gave out silly string! She was a hit.
I know a dentist who gives out toothbrushes with his name on it. I know someone else who gives out nickles.
And I know someone else who dresses up in costume and goes to a nursing home & gives a balloon to each of the residents.
Okay, my son (I won't say which one) would totally ridicule the nickel giver.
My kids won't eat the fruit snacks till the candy is all gone, and they aren't big candy eaters, so that usually isn't until about Easter, and by then the fruit snacks are hard little chunks of some sort of fruit plastic.
I'm with Sally, good jorb on the front porch.
With regard to Rocky, it seems the wounds and the hair should go together ... but that's just me.
