Dip and Dive Swim School
We are now registering for our summer sessions!
FOR YOUR HEALTH (AND COMFORT):
We have a new salt water chlorine generator (much easier on the skin and eyes, as well as consistent and automatic monitoring for safe and necessary levels of chlorine). We will also have a new pool heater - warmer water for new swimmers! We will be adding a false bottom to our shallow end, to reduce the depth for our beginner swimmers.
FOR YOUR SAFETY:
Both Kristen and Austin took the Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification class. Kristen will complete it and be certified by the end of May, Austin is auditing the course, so he will be familiar and practiced with all the techniques, but due to scheduling conflicts can not attend all the course requirements and will not recieve final certification. Kristen, Rocky, and Austin are all Red Cross CPR certified. We will have a pool monitor for all beginner level classes.
FOR YOUR INFORMATION:
We will be using the Red Cross nationally recognized "Learn to Swim" program which empasizes safety and swimming survival skills, along with proper form and technique.

This looks awesome! people better sign up soon before all the spots are taken!
Another reason why I wished we lived in Boise! I think you'd be the BEST teacher. Well, I already know you are, because you've taught me lots of stuff.
Me, me me! I want to swim!
Question 1: Is this a picture of your pool?
Question 2: If so, who is the well-bottomed individual near the bottom of the frame?
Yes, this is our pool and that well bottomed individual is a young woman that I know. So as not to embarASS her, I won't say her name. But I will say, that it isn't me, and you don't know her.
I love this picture best, precisely because of her bottom. It seems very much like something you'd see in a folk painting or something.
Dang I wish we were there so you could teach our kids!
The first time I saw it I thought it was impressive how you were able to get a full moon in at that angle.
Did you get that Costco pool heater, or are you going with a different one?
We are waiting for HOA approval and then will hopefully get that costco solar heater. We will need the largest package - but still only $850 compared to $2700 for a standard heater. And it will work with our current (sometimes unreliable) heater.
We got HOA approval, the solar heater will be put in within the next couple weeks. YAY!
