Today is Father's Day!
I am thankful for a great dad who has taught me so much and is always there for me to listen and advise. Recently I called him about a trial in my life and I said I just needed to unload. He said to go ahead. After wearing myself out and dumping all my troubles on him he said, "Oh honey, I'm sorry", then followed with this very sensitive phrase, "Do you want me to just listen, cause I can do that. Or do you want me to help you figure out some ways of dealing with things, cause I can do that too?" It was wonderful to know he would just listen but would also advise and counsel with me if I wanted that.

Of course, I have to also say how grateful I am that Bill is such a good dad to our boys. He loves them very much and spends lots of time with them and they have great fun together. He is also a great provider for us and he is very selfless. He will often give up his own meal for a child who decides they don't like what they've got on their plate, or will give up his time for a need they have. I am thankful he has that quality.

Very nice father's day post. I love the picture of Bill and the boys in Tulum--wasn't that a great trip? Now I have to echo Robin, I hope you will post about your trip! We missed you.
This is such a sweet Father's Day post. It made me think of the different dads in my life and how thankful I am for them, and how I love them.
