Lately I've been feeling a definate lack of humor in my life. This is sad, because I really like to laugh and have fun. I think I look at most things with a good perspective and lots of humor.
It was great to go to girl's camp because I found some humor there, though not nearly enough. I love when people drool, it just makes me laugh out loud, thanks Michelle. Of course, the sister of Sally Joe makes me laugh and makes others laugh too, which is great, but isn't really what I'm talking about.
It's that ability to find humor in everyday life. I think I've been so overwhelmed lately that I just am not doing that as effectively as I used to. Yeah, some pretty serious stuff is going on in my life, but it has before too, and I've gotten through it so I know I will this time. I know why I've lost some of it, I've been burned by my humor, but good grief, I need to get over it! I need to laugh. I need some great movies. I need some good jokes. I need to hang out and laugh with people who bring that out in me. I just feel a humor void.
I did find a little laughter this morning, and I always love to share a laugh, so enjoy:
Some race horses staying in a stable. One of them starts to boast about his track record. "In the last 15 races, I've won 8 of them!" Another horse breaks in, "Well in the last 27 races, I've won 19!!" "Oh that's good, but in the last 36 races, I've won 28!” says another, flicking his tail. At this point, they notice that a greyhound dog has been sitting there listening. "I don't mean to boast," Says the greyhound, "but in my last 90 races, I've won 88 of them!" The horses are clearly amazed. "Wow!" says one, after a hushed silence. "A talking dog!"
Send your laughs my way and help me find my humor!

Knock knock.
Who's there?
Alpaca.
Alpaca who?
Alpaca lunch and meet you at the cabin!
Sorry. I had to.
In a week, we will be at the cabin finding things to laugh at. :)
You know what? Laughter is really really important! My sister and I were talking about how easy it is to forget to laugh. We get so overwhelmed with life, or busy with kids, or scorned by finding things funny others might not(happened recently to me, I can't help it, it made me laugh. so what if I'm not pc.) However, if you lived with Lily, You would laugh. A lot. She is a hoot. Just the way she puts her hands on her hips and tilts her chin makes me laughs.
Brian Regan makes me laugh.
I wish I was planning a trip to the cabin to laugh with you all.
I will be there on Monday and we will LAUGH!
Oh boy are you gonna be laughing this weekend with all of us. And you'll probably be getting a daily email joke from me. AND I want someone to go to the movies with, so it should be you!
Finally here is a great quote:
Conquering any difficulty always gives one a secret joy, for it means pushing back a boundary-line
and adding to one's liberty.
